A foreign journalist is taking photos of the Mt. Qomolangma (Mt. Everest) at the Jiuwula col.
The journalists from home and abroad that are invited for the Olympic torch exhibition activity have reached the news center of Rongbo Monastery base camp on April 28, sources from China Tibet Information Center.
The 10 medium from China such as China Tibet Information Center and China Daily as well as 7 medium from abroad such as BBC and Reuters will report the Olympic torch relay.
On the starting ceremony for greeting the Olympic torch relay in China on March 31, Olympic flame has been reserved for the torch relay on Mt. Qomolangma, and it is confirmed that the light has reached the 5,200-meter base camp, said Jiang Xiaoyu, executive vice-chairman of the the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG).
The Olympic flame will be relayed in Ho Chi Minh, capital of Vietnam since April 29. |
